modoMojo_Win_1.0.zip   modoMojo_OSX_1.0b.zip 2008.02.27
8 kb
ModoMojo is a batch/network render controler along the lines of screamernet for Lightwave. In a single machine environment it can be used as a simple batch render controler by setting up a queue and running the controler and slave on the same machine. In a network environment ModoMojo will additionally distribute the frames to a mixed (Windows and OSX) network of slaves. In a cross platform network whether you chose to run the Windows or OSX controler is purely a matter of personal preference, either one will operate with slaves on both platforms.

ModoMojo consists of two parts, the controler application (ModoMojo.exe in Windows and ModoMojo.app in OSX) and the Modo script and config files to start Modo as a slave on each network machine.

renderRegion_v1.2.zip 2006.09.07
4 kb
This script will divide your rendering into smaller blocks, and render each block until it's all rendered. You can choose any number of subdivisions.

Sample Use: @render_region.py 3 2 - This will make 3 X divisions and 2 Y divisions
* If only 1 value is given, X and Y are the same
* if no values are given, it attempts to use form values, if not it uses 2x2

cycleRen_v1.0.zip 2006.05.24
2 kb

CycleRen can cycle through every camera and every light in the scene, and render just one light at a time. If you run it without arguments it will cycle through every light. Arguments are as follows:

allcam = Cycles through every camera and renders from it

alllights = Cycles through every light, turns them all off, then renders the scene with each individual light on its own

You can use both arguments in any order allowing you to render from every camera one light at a time.

renderSpan_v1.0.zip 2006.05.24
2 kb

If you use an argument of "dir" it will allow you to choose a single file in any directory, then it will render out every file in that directory.

Using an number argument instead will set the number of file iterations that you will be rendering based off of the number of the file that you choose.

ie: run the script with an argument of 3 then choose MahModel_0001.lxo and the script will render: MahModel_0001.lxo, MahModel_0002.lxo, MahModel_0003.lxo (works well with the incSaver script). Tutorial video found here.

This script will Save a render and save a file at that state. There are two ways to run the script:

renstate.pl
- with no arguments will open a file requester and allow you to choose a name for both the render and the file export

renstate.pl inc
- will save the render and file automatically, using the filename of the object and the highest increment ending in _XXXX
